Herewith is the full text of president-elect Barack Obama's victory speech Tuesday before a crowd of some 125,000 cheering and teraful supporters:

"If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.
"It's the answer told by lines that stretched around schools and churches in numbers this nation has never seen; by people who waited three hours and four hours, many for the very first time in their lives, because they believed that this time must be different; that their voice could be that difference.
"It's the answer spoken by young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Latino, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been a collection of Red States and Blue States: we are, and always will be, the United States of America.
"It's the answer that led those who have been told for so long by so many to be cynical, and fearful, and doubtful of what we can achieve to put their hands on the arc of history and bend it once more toward the hope of a better day.
"It's been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did on this day, in this election, at this defining moment, change has come to America.
"I just received a very gracious call from Senator McCain. He fought long and hard in this campaign, and he's fought even longer and harder for the country he loves. He has endured sacrifices for America that most of us cannot begin to imagine, and we are better off for the service rendered by this brave and selfless leader. I congratulate him and Governor Palin for all they have achieved, and I look forward to working with them to renew this nation's promise in the months ahead.
"I want to thank my partner in this journey, a man who campaigned from his heart and spoke for the men and women he grew up with on the streets of Scranton and rode with on that train home to Delaware, the Vice President-elect of the United States, Joe Biden.
"I would not be standing here tonight without the unyielding support of my best friend for the last 16 years, the rock of our family and the love of my life, our nation's next First Lady, Michelle Obama. Sasha and Malia, I love you both so much, and you have earned the new puppy that's coming with us to the White House. And while she's no longer with us, I know my grandmother is watching, along with the family that made me who I am. I miss them tonight, and know that my debt to them is beyond measure.
"To my campaign manager David Plouffe, my chief strategist David Axelrod, and the best campaign team ever assembled in the history of politics you made this happen, and I am forever grateful for what you've sacrificed to get it done.
"But above all, I will never forget who this victory truly belongs to it belongs to you.
"I was never the likeliest candidate for this office. We didn't start with much money or many endorsements. Our campaign was not hatched in the halls of Washington it began in the backyards of Des Moines and the living rooms of Concord and the front porches of Charleston.
"It was built by working men and women who dug into what little savings they had to give five dollars and ten dollars and twenty dollars to this cause. It grew strength from the young people who rejected the myth of their generation's apathy; who left their homes and their families for jobs that offered little pay and less sleep; from the not-so-young people who braved the bitter cold and scorching heat to knock on the doors of perfect strangers; from the millions of Americans who volunteered, and organized, and proved that more than two centuries later, a government of the people, by the people and for the people has not perished from this Earth. This is your victory.
"I know you didn't do this just to win an election and I know you didn't do it for me. You did it because you understand the enormity of the task that lies ahead. For even as we celebrate tonight, we know the challenges that tomorrow will bring are the greatest of our lifetime, two wars, a planet in peril, the worst financial crisis in a century.
"Even as we stand here tonight, we know there are brave Americans waking up in the deserts of Iraq and the mountains of Afghanistan to risk their lives for us. There are mothers and fathers who will lie awake after their children fall asleep and wonder how they'll make the mortgage, or pay their doctor's bills, or save enough for college. There is new energy to harness and new jobs to be created; new schools to build and threats to meet and alliances to repair.
"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even one term, but America I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there. I promise you we as a people will get there. "There will be setbacks and false starts. There are many who won't agree with every decision or policy I make as president, and we know that government can't solve every problem. But I will always be honest with you about the challenges we face. I will listen to you, especially when we disagree. And above all, I will ask you join in the work of remaking this nation the only way it's been done in America for 221 years block by block, brick by brick, calloused hand by calloused hand.
"What began twenty-one months ago in the depths of winter must not end on this autumn night. This victory alone is not the change we seek it is only the chance for us to make that change. And that cannot happen if we go back to the way things were. It cannot happen without you.
"So let us summon a new spirit of patriotism; of service and responsibility where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves, but each other. Let us remember that if this financial crisis taught us anything, it's that we cannot have a thriving Wall Street while Main Street suffers in this country, we rise or fall as one nation; as one people.
"Let us resist the temptation to fall back on the same partisanship and pettiness and immaturity that has poisoned our politics for so long. Let us remember that it was a man from this state who first carried the banner of the Republican Party to the White House a party founded on the values of self-reliance, individual liberty, and national unity. Those are values we all share, and while the Democratic Party has won a great victory tonight, we do so with a measure of humility and determination to heal the divides that have held back our progress. As Lincoln said to a nation far more divided than ours, 'We are not enemies, but friends though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection.' And to those Americans whose support I have yet to earn I may not have won your vote, but I hear your voices, I need your help, and I will be your president too.
"And to all those watching tonight from beyond our shores, from parliaments and palaces to those who are huddled around radios in the forgotten corners of our world our stories are singular, but our destiny is shared, and a new dawn of American leadership is at hand. To those who would tear this world down we will defeat you. To those who seek peace and security we support you. And to all those who have wondered if America's beacon still burns as bright tonight we proved once more that the true strength of our nation comes not from our the might of our arms or the scale of our wealth, but from the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity, and unyielding hope.
"For that is the true genius of America that America can change. Our union can be perfected. And what we have already achieved gives us hope for what we can and must achieve tomorrow.
"This election had many firsts and many stories that will be told for generations. But one that's on my mind tonight is about a woman who cast her ballot in Atlanta. She's a lot like the millions of others who stood in line to make their voice heard in this election except for one thing -- Ann Nixon Cooper is 106 years old.
"She was born just a generation past slavery; a time when there were no cars on the road or planes in the sky; when someone like her couldn't vote for two reasons because she was a woman and because of the color of her skin.
"And tonight, I think about all that she's seen throughout her century in America the heartache and the hope; the struggle and the progress; the times we were told that we can't, and the people who pressed on with that American creed: Yes we can.
"At a time when women's voices were silenced and their hopes dismissed, she lived to see them stand up and speak out and reach for the ballot. Yes we can.
"When there was despair in the dust bowl and depression across the land, she saw a nation conquer fear itself with a New Deal, new jobs and a new sense of common purpose. Yes we can.
"When the bombs fell on our harbor and tyranny threatened the world, she was there to witness a generation rise to greatness and a democracy was saved. Yes we can.
"She was there for the buses in Montgomery, the hoses in Birmingham, a bridge in Selma, and a preacher from Atlanta who told a people that 'We Shall Overcome.' Yes we can.
"A man touched down on the moon, a wall came down in Berlin, a world was connected by our own science and imagination. And this year, in this election, she touched her finger to a screen, and cast her vote, because after 106 years in America, through the best of times and the darkest of hours, she knows how America can change. Yes we can.
"America, we have come so far. We have seen so much. But there is so much more to do. So tonight, let us ask ourselves if our children should live to see the next century; if my daughters should be so lucky to live as long as Ann Nixon Cooper, what change will they see? What progress will we have made?
"This is our chance to answer that call. This is our moment. This is our time to put our people back to work and open doors of opportunity for our kids; to restore prosperity and promote the cause of peace; to reclaim the American Dream and reaffirm that fundamental truth that out of many, we are one; that while we breathe, we hope, and where we are met with cynicism, and doubt, and those who tell us that we can't, we will respond with that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of a people:

AIG is finally out of the woods from now after the Federal Reserve pumped in $85 bil bridge loan to alleviate the liquidity pressure in the company. As an employee of AIG, I do have strong faith in the company and I believe that AIG could pull through this difficult times despite the market sentiments and global economic meltdown.
AIG will need some time to dispose off some of it's cash cow companies to repay it's debt within 2 years from now. Our CEO Brad Bennet has given his assurance that our insurance business will continue as usual and we have enough capacity to settle claims within Malaysia. This is because AIG's reserves in Malaysia is governed and controlled by BNM. Based on our paid up capital, we have the financial strength to accept risk and honour claims.Our New Chairman Edward Liddy, formerly from Allstate, has also given his assurance that the company will continue it's operation over 130 countries worldwide. I urge all employees of AIG to have faith in the company. We need to develop the trust and confidence among policy holders that the company is rock solid and too big to fail. The $85 bil bridge loan is merely 8% of our 1 trillion assets. We will survive this global economic upheaval and we will be getting up from our knees stronger than before! A&H ELITE CLUB AT PANGKOR ISLAND BEACH RESORT

Trust me, the dancers were really hot!This video clip is probably less than a minute because I rather see them live in action ;)
The dancers joined us on the dance floor later that night.

This video was taken using my nokia handphone. In this video, you could see my lady boss dancing and enjoying herself during the trip to Pangkor Island Beach Resort. Who's my lady boss? Make a wild guess lah. The 3 days 2 nite stay at Pangkor Island Beach Resort was really fun. This trip is mainly for all the A&H Elite Club qualifiers ie abt 60 Agents altogether. Places with beautiful beaches is always my favourite travel spot. I love swimming in the pool but not the beach, maybe because of the jelly fish. Guess what? I didn't snap any pictures this time, maybe because our travel event organizer is doing the camera job and I just sit back, unwind myself throughout the trip. We had our recognition nite on the 2nd day of the trip. The theme of the nite is "Bollywood" nite. Why Bollywood? I really do know...Among the performances during the nite were the Limbo Rock, Snake charmer show, 3 beautiful and sexy lady dancers, and singing competition. As for the singing competition, my lady boss put a prank on me by registering my name without informing me about it and I was called on stage to sing a song. Anyway, I've wittingly invited my lady boss to sing along with me on a duet number by Lionel Ritchie "Endless Love"...prank her back!Ha ha..... Will probably upload some pictures later when I've got the photos from the organizers...tbc!

I wonder if you have heard of this illusionist by the name of Chriss Angel. He is one of the most amazing illusionist I've ever seen. The video which you are about to watch is really mind boggling and freaky. For those faint hearted, you are advice to watch at your own risk....It's inexplicable how he does that, especially in broad daylight. You could see more of his illusion by typing his name in You Tube.
I believe you've heard of David Blaine, Mondo Magic, David Copperfield and etc.

JUST TOO TIRED....

I am just too tired to read the newspaper nowadays, especially news with political propaganda elements. The present Govt need to realise that the rakyat are turning deaf ears to whatever calls the Govt is making to win the votes of Permatang Pauh election because the rakyat have lost confidence towards the present Govt.As you watch the TV news during the pre-election, the media always talk good about the Govt helping the rakyat and asking the rakyat not to fall prey to Anwar and vote for BN, with the motive to win the Permatang Pauh election. The rakyat are not concern whether Anwar has committed sodomy or whether Anwar has a hidden political agenda, but the rakyat are just too tired to listen to the Govt hypocracy calls on Anti-corruption and self-denial in their capability in running the country and therefore the rakyat have no choice but to opt for alternatives which benefited PKR by default. During the pre-election period, it is apparent how BN manipulated the media to influence the rakyat by showing Shaiful repeatedly swearing over the quran, and a few days later, the DPM also swore (without the quran) to deny his involvement in the Mongolian murder case. Dear fellow convicts, you can start swearing now to prove innocence and appeal for release from the solitary confinement.
The DPM also made an intimidating statement to withdraw fuel subsidy if the rakyat is not happy with the revised fuel price. Is he trying to use the media to threaten the rakyat? He must be out of his mind.
The Govt must acknowledge the fact that the rakyat are fed up with the way the Govt runs the country. The rakyat are looking forward for a change of Govt this time because the present Govt is not capable in managing the economy as compared to the pre-decessor. The rakyat does not give much credence to the Govt's promises. Time has change. People are more educated and knowledgeable now because information and news could easily be obtained from the internet. As people becomes more knowledgeable, they become more mature in distinguishing right from wrong. This is also guided by our human instinct in navigating us towards the truth. Whether or not the person swears over the quran does not induce the rakyat to perceive the truth. Let's all pray for Anwar. Let the truth prevail!! The silence must be broken before it breaks!

RESTAURANT YU AI - SEGAMBUT SEAFOOD NOODLE

I was on half day leave today to service my car at Toyota Service Center in Segambut. Suppose to do it over the past 2 weekends but hardly got the time to do so. Anyway, I do not wish to procrastinate any longer as I suppose to service my car at 5000km but it's already 5500km now.
Since the service appointment is at 1pm, I've decided to have my lunch nearby the area which is not too far away from the infamous Segambut Seafood Noodle at Restaurant Yu Ai. I didn't have my breakfast in the morning and was quite hungry that time, so I ordered a large bowl of noodle and a cup of cincau to go with it. I've been to this Restaurant many years ago and I remember it cost about RM12 per bowl. It is considered quite expensive for a bowl of noodle. However, since I couldn't re-collect how it taste, no harm trying it again, expecting the price didn't change much. After the meal, I requested for the bill and to my amazement,it cost RM17 per bowl and RM2.20 for just a cup of cincau.My jaw almost drop...The cashier somemore gave me the Restaurant namecard. RM17 for a bowl of noodle?? Cincau for RM2.20?? This is madness....I was surprised there were quite many customers despite the ridiculous price charged. I've told myself that it's going to be my last time ever to step into this Restaurant. In fact, it's not the price that matters but it's just not worth paying for a bowl of noodle. To me, it taste just like any curry noodle you can find in Jalan Alor / Jalan Imbi except that the portion is slightly larger, that's all!! I will definitely boy-cott this place!

MY VIOS

I've driven my Vios for almost 4 months since I've bought it in April and I'm quite satisfied with the overall performance of the car except that Toyota has recently released another lower spec J-model which will definitely affect the re-sale value of my S-model.I've chosen silver colour because it matches the design very well as compared to the other colours.Black looks rugged but makes the car look much smaller.The interior is quite spacious and more stylish as compared to the predecessor. The 6 speaker sound system built-in player is excellent. Honda City was in fact my first choice but the current model is phasing out soon and the new model will only be launched somewhere in Dec. Too long the wait.However, no regrets in getting a Vios! ; )

Chris Daughtry is definitely my favourite artist as of now. "What About Now" is the seventh and final single off of American rock band Daughtry's eponymous debut album. The music video is a social commentary, depicting several people and places effected by poverty, natural disasters, and war, as well as other world issues. Several comments are made about these issues, and the video also asks introspective questions to the viewer. Certain people who are working to help these problems are shown throughout the video, with their names and what their associated with listed. The video features a light bulb that has not yet burned out, which symbolizes that it's not too late to make a difference. The video concludes with one final question to the viewer, "What About Now?", shown next to the burning light bulb. A few shots of the band playing the song live are also shown in the video.

American Home Assurance Company has been localised on the 1st of June 2008 and with this local flavour but foreign essence, the company name has been renownedly changed to AIG General Insurance (Malaysia)Berhad (AIGGI). I believe this award was conferred based on the global awareness of AIG sponsorship on Manchester United Footbal Club, with millions of football fans worlwide, coming to learn the brandname as a global insurer provider.

AIG Annual Dinner was held last night ie 1st March 2008 at the Legend Hotel. The theme of the night is "Cultural". As you could see, some of us were dressed in cultural costumes and the performances has some cultural elements too. The company at my table was great, however the performances was not as good as the year before,reason being I don't fancy "Cultural" shows, especially in such occasion and boredom seeps in throughout the night. I hope the committees will take my comments constructively and improvise it in the year to come. Here are some snapshots taken during the event. Cheers!!

PLATINUM HILL, MY CURRENT RESIDENT - MOVED IN SINCE 18/6/07

I've finally moved in to my new home at Platinum Hill Condominium on the 18/6/07. It is situated behind TAR college and it's very near to Melati LRT station as well. If you take the MRR2 road to Genting Highlands, you will notice a stretch of shop lots yellow in colour along the left hand side of the road before the Petronas station with a Bomba station next to it. My condo is just before the stretch of shop lots which is orange in colour. The built-up area is 1328 sq/ft with a living hall, wet & dry kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 2 balconies, and 2 bath roooms. I like the masterroom because it is as big as the living hall.The first thing I did when I received my house key was to paint the walls with trendy colours to match with the furnitures. I love classic furnitures because it's more classy in nature and of quality workmanship. Of course, it can be quite expensive because of the quality wood that was used to make it.Besides, classic furnitures gives a strong presence and cozy ambience in the living hall especially when "yellow" lights are being used. I am quite fussy when comes to choosing the type of furniture, lights, curtains, kitchen cabinet / accesories and decoratives (eg. paintings, vases, and etc) because they must compliment each other in terms of colours, design (whether it's square or rounded edges), materials, and of course the pricing as well. My principle in choosing all these must be of unique design and value for money. There are many things which I would like to improvise in my new home but it's going to be done progressively. For those who've just moved in to your new home, take your time to shop around for home stuffs. You may get good bargains from "Homedec" and try getting some ideas from home magazines too. You may not want to hunt around too many places just for everything because some goods are just too negligible to compare on prices especially stuffs like electrical goods as the price differences is not worth your travelling time & cost (esp fuel is so expensive now). So don't end up being "Penny wise, pound foolish". Just use your intuitive sense of price tagged on the goods is "value for money" and most importantly you need to prioritize your purchase according to your budget wisely or else you may end up buying stuffs without realising that you have overspend and worse of all with mounting credit card debts. 12 WAYS TO STAY ON TOP OF STRESS

Here are 12 ways to stay on top of stress:

1. Exercise. Amen for endorphins. Believe me, they've helped me many days with my perspective. If you have to work out, then go take a brisk walk and get that blood flowing. It isn't about working out to lose weight -- it's about being healthy and staying sane.

2. Eat the real stuff. Crappy food (fast, processed, and loaded with sugar) doesn't help your chemical brain and body handle stress. Living food, real food, helps support your mind and body while it's trying to deal with the million things coming its way. Every time I reach for the chocolate, I'm looking to feel something from it. Don't get me wrong -- if it's just a little here and there because I enjoy the taste of it, great. But if I'm using it the minute I feel overwhelmed, then that's when that food is no longer OK to eat. It doesn't make the problem go away, and then I just feel bad about eating the food to pacify myself. Grab green food instead. Put things in your mouth that are going to support your immune function and keep you levelheaded.

3.Notice. Try not to let the stress overtake you. Recognize the situations that cause the stress and notice them coming your way. You have a better shot at fending off the full effects of the stress when you can anticipate it.

4.Get it off your chest. Talk to a friend or partner about the stress. Sometimes just getting it off your chest can help unload some of the burden.

5.Keep your sense of humor. If you do have the chance to talk about it, try to see the irony and humor in the wacky bits. I think someone is dead in the water once they lose their sense of humor.

6.Stay grateful."Oh, I don't feel like going to the gym." Well, Amen that you have the means and the health to even be able to wrestle with the idea of going to work out. Make a habit of saying thank you. You will notice the sunny spots a lot more often, and not just the gray skies and storms.

7.Ask, "What's the hurry?" Have some fun. We're always so busy going somewhere, we miss just enjoying the moment. If an opportunity comes your way to do something fun, take it.

8.Take a deep breath. When you feel the stress getting to you, take a moment. Get away, even if it's just for an hour, to be with yourself and your thoughts. Some people like to take a walk, meditate, lock themselves away in a beautiful bath, or go to church. Find the peace and the silence.

9.Keep it simple. Simplify where you can. Does Junior really need to be in 78 activities at the age of 5? Do you have to go to every little party or gathering you're invited to?

10.Turn of the TV. A lot of it is bad news anyway, and it robs us of hours that we could use to be getting other things done. Since everyone complains that they have no time, get some by unplugging from the tube.

11.Sleep. If you're rested, you have a better shot at handling things. Not to mention, you may not stress out as easily if you have a chance to recover at night.

12.Drink water. Americans consume 21 percent of their calories through liquid consumption. Hydrate with water. Help you entire system function better just by drinking enough water. Oh, and by the way, if you don't think that weight loss and proper hydration have a relationship, think again. Shift the paradigm on its side -- don't think about exercise and nutritional eating just as something you have to suffer through to get into those jeans. Instead, think of them as armor that will protect you in this crazy world, with all of the bazillion details you deal with every day.

Hi my name is Wolby! I am a mini pinscher and I'm 4 months old. My owner was Ms Agnes Chong. As I was staying with Agnes in a condominium, I do not have much room to run around. To alleviate my claustrophobic syndrome, Agnes gave me away to Mr Jason on the 27/4/07 and I was brought back to Jason's hometown in Malacca. At first, I felt so relieve when I first saw the compound outside the house but upon reaching the doorstep, I was not given a warm reception by Jason's mum. So, Jason has no avenue but to give me away to one of his relative who is a dog lover as well. Only GOD knows what happen after that. Jason, pls visit me with a bone or two whenever you are free!:P

This is the Korean singer (U Nee) whose identity was mistaken for the Mongolian girl (Altantuya) who was brutally murdered and blasted into pieces by a notable personage in Malaysia last year. Unfortunately, they both share the same faith as their life were shortlived. Last year, the Korean singer committed suicide by hanging herself due to depression. Sad but true...what a waste rite. Miss Malaysia Tourism 2006 Beauty Pageant which was held at Sunway Resort Hotel last night, was not as entertaining as compared to Miss Universe or Miss World Pageant,especially when the contestants did not perform up to their level best as what should be expected during the talent-time show. The announcement of the top 5 finalist was quite disappointing and unexpected as well! As the saying goes "Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder!" and what seemingly my choice of "meat", may be the judge's "poison"! Nevertheless, I quite enjoy myself overall, else I wouldn't have created the slide-show for your viewing pleasure. In my opinion, beauty is not about facial features or vital statistics, but most importantly, it must come from the heart...

AIG LEADERSHIP TRAINING - ILHAM RESORT AT PORT DICKSON

I have just attended a 4 days intensive AIG Leadership training ie 2 days in-house and 2 days at Port Dickson. The training made me understand better the role of a Leader.It's not easy being a Leader in an organisation and what more being a Leader of a country which requires lots of courage, ability and "never say die attitude". After the training, I guess I rather be a follower than a Leader. Anyway, here's a group photo with AIG colleagues from various departments and also with the organisers.

The organising team from Singpore who tortured us with group activities for 2 solid days.However, to me, it's "wet wet water"...ha ha!

Here's our facilitator, Dr. Alvin Wong (from Singapore), a very articulate and knowledgeable guy! His infamous phrase is "Boh Chap", and if you understand hokkien, it means "Don't Interfere", I think.

The Underwater World in Sentosa (Singapore) is a "must see" place in Sentosa because there are nothing else to see other than the Underwater World. That's why the nickname for Sentosa is "So Expensive!Nothing TO See Also".

For those of you who have not met my family members before, here we are. Starting from the very left is my brother-in-law (Ryan), followed by his wife (ie my youngest sis Joanne), my 2nd elder sis (Julia) and husband (Lester ie my brother-in-law too), myself (Jason) and my beloved wife (Annie), my eldest sis (Judy), my beloved mum and last but not least, my aunt (Lucy ie my father's sis). FYI, my dad (Joseph) had passed away peacefully in 1991.
